Workers’ Educational Association (WEA)
A voluntary adult education organisation set up to provide high quality learning opportunities for adults from all walks of life. The WEA provides over 10,000 courses each year across Britain supported by central and local government. There are local branches across East and West Sussex. Most WEA courses are free to people who receive a means-tested benefit or Jobseekers Allowance and to their unwaged dependants. Some courses are funded externally and are free to all.

Learndirect
Learndirect offers courses designed to improve skills and gain qualifications. They offer nationally recognised maths, English and IT courses. Courses can be completed at the local Learndirect centre (Eastbourne or Hastings), from home, work, or anywhere you have an internet connection.
Learndirect also offer apprenticeships and skills for work.
